    Greetings:

Thank you for visiting our website.

It's hard to believe that this will be our twentieth  season of presenting the AfroSolo Arts Festival.  We are profoundly grateful for your support over the years; without you we would not exist.

This year's theme is Saluting Yesterday, Celebrating Today and Soaring Into the Future! (Salute, Celebrate and Soar!).  This theme encompasses our desire to pay homage to the past, hold-up our shining lights and unflinchingly move into the future. Our goal is to utilize the arts to inform, uplift and inspire.  We also endeavor to present a superb festival that will make you proud.

AfroSolo Arts Festival 20 will open on July 29th with our panel discussion at the Commonwealth Club of California and end with a gala event on  October 23rd.  I will keep you informed on our progress.

Again, thank you very much for your support.

    Sincerely,
    Thomas Robert Simpson

AfroSolo's mission is to nurture, promote, and present African American and African Diasporan art and culture through solo performances and the visual and literary arts. Since 1993, we have provided a forum to give an authentic voice to the diverse experiences of Black people. Through art, we bring people of all ethnicities together to explore and share the human spirit that binds us all.
