AfroSolo Arts Festival 21

AfroSolo, in collaboration with Supervisor London Breed, MoMagic, The African American Art and Culture Complex, California Pacific Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, St. Mary's Medical Center and Rainbow Grocery Coop, hosts its 10th annual community health fair.

The objectives of the event are:

The objectives of the event are:
• Encourage every attendee to establish a Medical Home (A team based partnership between you and a primary provider in cooperation with specialists and support from the community. Or, an ongoing relationship between primary care provider and a patient as the focus of healthcare).
• Increase health awareness by providing health screenings, information and demonstrations
• Motivate participants to make positive health behavior changes
• Promote self-care practices
• Increase awareness of local health services and resources
• Provide access and interaction with health and medical professionals
